I grew up in the wide-open fields of Iowa, where my compass always pointed West. I didn’t know exactly where I was headed, but I knew I was meant for mountains and adventure.

I learned to fly as a teenager and the sky quickly became my favorite place to dream. I have always been that dreamer. But it wasn’t until later in life that I made the move that changed everything: I came to Alaska.

Alaska is where the mountains finally met my soul. It’s here that I’ve found purpose and the kind of life I only used to imagine. One filled with backcountry airstrips, quiet moments high in the mountains and skies that stretch far beyond what you think is possible.
